Dr. Phillips is an internationally recognized expert and leader in Family-Centered Maternity Care. She is a prolific speaker, author, and consultant on maternity care, having consulted with over 700 hospitals in 48 states, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Dr. Phillips specializes in maternity program assessment, operations improvement, and strategic planning. Through programmed site visits, board-level presentations, and focused retreats, she provides an unusual service by helping clients create new visions for maternity care and how it could be delivered in the future. Recipient of numerous awards, including AWHONN's Distinguished Professional Service Award and AJN's Book of the Year Award twice, Dr. Phillips has pioneered efforts to improve maternity care through family-centered practice for more than 40 years. |
Loel Fenwick, MD - Principal, Chairman

Dr. Fenwick designed and manufactured the American birth bed, created the Single-Room Maternity Care concept, and developed the LDRP and "cluster" design approach for contemporary maternity care units. He has conducted numerous architectural reviews and developed conceptual plans for maternity care services of all sizes. Dr. Fenwick advises P+F clients on various functional planning and facility issues. |
